Finally got to sit in one

Was at the dealer to schedule some body work on my G8 and they had a 2ss/rs in the dealership getting detailed. I got to sit in it since I'm there all the time.

Being inside one finally was like being a kid in a candy store. The seats were comfortable and the controls on the steering wheel seemed to be placed just right (very similar to my G8). I felt a lot lower to the ground and got the feeling that driving one down the road would just be 'cool'.

The fit and finish of the materials was great. The front/rear windows didn't give much for visibility compared to my G8. But the overall shape of the interior, the way the windows met the pillars and roof, the way the back and front windows slanted it felt like being in the cockpit of a high performance machine - not the drivers seat of an every day car. Can't wait to get one.

I think you should trade in the G8 and come to the other side...

I'm not planning on trading my G8, financially I'd take a huge hit. And although sitting in the camaro made my G8 feel like a grocery getter I still think it's an agressive/refined looking car. I love it. Besides, you can't buy G8s anymore.

I'm going to just have to wait and pay off my truck and then buy a camaro. It'll be a bit but it'll be worth it to have both cars.
