15 inch welds vs 17 inch

How much better are the 15's going to hook compared to 17's? Same tire on each obviously just different size.
Is it worth it to spend all the extra money to make 15's fit?

More sidewall in the 15" so logic says they'd be better. You wanna be somewhat dedicated to the track if your gonna lay out the cash for 15"'s and all the trimmings, it'll add up to $7k pretty quick. I run 17's and cut 1.49-1.51 60's.

I wish someone made a taller 17 inch slick . The 28 is just too short for me . If you run a drag radial the 390 is perfect in a 17 !

I actually just got off the phone with M/T. They have new sizes that are coming out. They didn't say how many or what sizes. But I did suggest them to look something that would be taller than 28" in a 17". I also suggested to come here they can see for themselves if the demand is there or not.I told them that M&H has the right sizes,so it might rattle their cages. lol...

I have ran M/T over 4 year's. But the last set of DR I put on the 17" Bogarts I went with 325/45/17 M&H. And cut .05 off my 60' vs 17" & 18" M/T. So now a M&H fan.

The 325/45/17 M&H are 28.52 tall

Yeah that what I was running the 295 M/T their 27.1 tall. With the M&H they call for a 11" wheel I have no issues with the 10" wheel. And yes very happy. I going to look into trying the 325/40/18 M&H on my 18"X11" wheels.

I also love the M&H. I run the 325/45/17 also on a 10" wheel. They wear faster than the Mickeys but hook much better for me.

I run the new M/T et street R. its the same compound as the pro 275.

I went from a 325 MH to the 305 M/T. cut 2/10s off my 60. I consistently go 1.3 sixties on my 17s
