First Time To the Track in 7 Years

1st Pass- 11.8 @ 126mph
2nd Pass- 11.4 @ 128mph
3rd Pass- Smoked them- 12.5 @ 128mph

I had to hash out a problem with my Hurst Roll Control. I think I got it situated now. 60ft's were terrible. Had a great time though. My goal is to get this pig into the 10s.

MPH shows a lot more potential. If you can get it to hook up, you may very well be in the 10's.

I will get my time slips out of the car when I get home and take a look. I forget. All I know is they are garbage.

Definitely. Driver (me) just needs more seat time. One thing with Maple Grove Raceway is, to much idle time between passes. like an hour and 20 minutes. All the other drag strips near me are an 1-2 hours away.

Good to see you got to the track for some fun.
Now it's time to get that 4800lb beast on a diet.

I was waiting for your response man! Lance has been helping me out with some information regarding the bottom end he was running in his M6 ZL1. He brought you up! Yeah, I had a good time, just want to get this machine in the 10s. I am going to try and get down to the track again Sunday. I wish Maple Grove had more Test & Tunes. They have an event called the "High School Challenge" this weekend, but due to poor turnout the past couple of years, they are opening it up to alumni from what I heard. Now I been out of school 10 years so I don't know. I will call the track this week sometime.

Way to get that Monster finally to the track Man. MPH shows promise. What was th DA? Also, do you know what rpm you are you launching and shifting at? There definitely is more MPH in that beast.

Also, try to record your tire pressure and start dropping 1-2 lbs of air in the rear tires on each pass if you keep spinning. Don't go below 15 lbs on the 20" MT DRs. Great job getting out there and getting some baseline runs. It gets more fun each time!!

Thanks man! Like you said, I am just getting some baseline runs. I am running 17 inch RT-S's with Racemasters on the rear. I had a blast. It would be cool if you were up here!

You doing great Man!! Especially with that combo banging gears for the 1st time at the track in 7 years. That 11.4 pass at 128 mph says it all.

You will be deep in the 10's with a few more track days in good air and track prep. PM me if you need anything. Nice job!!

I really appreciate that man. We will be in touch. As long as everything goes ok, it looks like I will be back down to the track this coming Sunday. Nothing like bangin' the gears! There is a 55 Chevy that always runs down there. Hugger Orange Gasser. Beautiful machine. The name of the car is "Shifty Business." I love watching that guy run.

Too bad you are not closer to Cecil County, MD. I have been basically able to hot lap there on Wednesdays.

Ran today. Managed a 11.2 at 128mph. I did manage a 129 mph pass, but terrible ET. I am going to keep pushing!
