One can not possibly fathom the simplicity and complexity and the strength of the inner circle. The most exclusive entity ever. And we have eyes and ears everywhere.

Plus, we just flat out like to drink.

So I fell off the car mods for a few months, the wife needed a "new" car. I ended up getting a clean low mile (11K miles) '09 G8 GT. We'll I'm ready to get the coil overs now. Are Ridetechs still the recommended ones for the Camaro?

There are several out there to chose from. The real question is why are you getting them? For looks? Drag? Road course?

Road Course/Street. I have a '13 1LE putting down 432/422 with CTS-V brakes.

I'll also throw on the permagrin kit I have at the same time. I want tune ability/adjustability and to close up the gap for looks. I track (less often than I would like) but it is my DD so it must behave stockish as far as ride quality.

Ok that helps. Second major question is what can your budget handle for this mod?

The Ridetechs are priced at the upper end of what I want to spend.

Then here are a few choices....blisten pss10, ride techs, kW v3, Megan's, bc, etc. a few options some about the same price as ride techs and some half the price.

I am sure there are other I didn't mention that would be good but these are some that I remember right now in your price range.

Detroit speed is also good from what I have heard but out of your price range.

I don't have any experience with any of them but have a buddy who runs kW v3 and likes them and have spoken to a member here with blisten pss10 and likes them better than pfadt's. I have pfadt's on mine now. Not sure what I will do when then time comes to replace them. One thing I have learned is go with a brand that is going to be around and not go under(no offense Pete). That way if something does go wrong you can have them replaced or rebuilt and not be stuck with buying a whole new set.

So that puts me right at the Bilsteins or Ridetechs. Most have said they prefer the Ridetechs that I have seen. So back to the original plan.

Probably the best bang for the buck at this time plus they have a crazy warranty and have been around for a long time.

Doesn't hurt to check out the competition though.

RideTech would be my choice, but I don't believe they have a G8 kit. The front clevis on a Camaro is truck like in size. The G8 is much smaller.
