Kudos to Josh and RPI for making sure these are perfect before putting them on sale.

Think they said they were working on a ZL1 style spoiler too. Hell, I'll outfit my entire car with RPI aero

What is the unpainted one like? Can it be installed straight up and still look good like the SLP one or would you recommend the flat black regardless?

Also, are the bolt holes fairly well hidden just in case I ever happen to take the splitter off?

I installed the unpainted one. Photo below. It was a straight up install, from box to bumper. The hardware runs along the underside of the splitter, and is easily accessible. The hardest part is getting your hands behind, and inside the bumper cover itself to access the nuts...hehe. All joking aside, the unpainted one is well worth the money. Included are detailed instructions on installation.

Awesome, thanks! The afternoon sun kinda obscures the color in the photo a bit... would you say it matches the black on the lower grille appropriately or is it a little bit lighter?

Does the colour of the unpainted version matched the colour of the ZL1 rockers?

The color is a bit lighter, but not that noticeable. What I did was rub a little armor all on the splitter and it darkens it up to a close match with the grill

If you want a perfect match to the grills get the matte black! It's only $20 more than unpainted.

Looks a bit more satin than matte, which is fine by me since matte black scratches and scuffs too easily. I think I'll take your advice.

Fedex dropped off the new splitter today and got it installed tonight. 1-1/4 hours and a scraped hand later.

Painted carbon flash metallic to match my stripes. Perfect match and fit. Nice job RPI. Anxious to see the side skirts.

Included a shot of my ZL1 front wheel well guards next to the splitter. Lines up nice.
