I had 50 on my GN windshield...it was dark at night.

Not a problem, not even a little bit at night.
Insulates glass, protects you, and your interior.
No way I'd have any vehicle w/out it.

I can't believe that is remotely safe visibility at night.
50% is the clearest and lightest tint you can put on a car. Ant it is legal in Puerto Rico to tint the whole windshield with 50%. Everybody does it here. It doesn't interfere with night driving at all.
