Brandon thanks for your concern.
I actually went and fueled up to bring it to be checked out and after putting gas in it the check engine light went off. After seeing the light was off i tried starting via the remote fob and BAM! IT STARTED!!!!

Sorry for long reply. Have been out of the country. So if your remote loses its program it wont start with the key in the ignition or remotely?
The engine light is back on as of this morning as well. Took it to AutoZone and code said it is out of time (and note the autozone guy said those codes may or may not be accurate which means I wasted 10 minutes of my life I will never regain for a code that doesnt mean a damn thing). Guy unhooked the scanner and when i got in it to leave the engine light was off again. Pissin me off this crap is.

Ok i see...why would the gas cap give me an engine light? The code the autozone guy got was saying it is out of time. I will have to take it to the dealer as bad as I hate too. $30k car and at 37,500 miles is when the house of cards comes down.
Am having more issues now. Will post more when I get done with customer service rep and dealership.
When I do is anyone looking for a good deal on a '10 2LT? LoL!

Gas cap will give you a CEL for a small vacuum leak. A scan tool will give you that code and info. I just had to clear one for someone here at work, then I asked him did you just get gas and he said no my son did. I believe the car wont remote start anytime you have a stored code in the ecm. Take it to your dealer and speak to the service manager and/or your salesman. They can repair it on goodwill.
