GM builds trucks for what they're supposed to be used for. And we all know GM can do it if they wanted to. Remember the Cyclone or the Typhoon?

GM has so many toys in their toy chest Ford HAS to do stuff like this. What else do they have? The Mustang. That's it.
Being from ND I almost see as many or more Raptors than regular F150's...you are absolutely. dead. wrong.

This a fail to me. Not worth whatever they're going to charge for it to me. At least with the dodge you can get the big motor in the cheapest truck.

I just bought a new Ram R/T because GM won't put the 6.2 in a RCSB. GM lost a sale because of it. If Ram puts a 6.4 with an 8 speed in an R/T my 13 Ram will be up for sale.

Normally I am all for a performance truck styled for dirt or pavement but this just seems gimmicky.... Ehhh to each their own though.

This is the second article I've seen saying it will be priced $23,000-$27,000. http://www.cnbc.com/id/100849583?__s...20Truck%20Powe It's a good looking truck but I would still take a Silverado over it.

They never came up with anything to compete with the Raptor, I doubt they will do it with this new model.
Wish they did though.

I would go for something like this that would be a lot more affordable than a Raptor competitor. They could use the 5.3 and add a few real performance upgrades. With the right look they could have a real winner. Dual mode exhaust on the Silverado anybody?

The GMC Syclone was a badass truck in it's day. It was the vette killer in 91'. I had one and it had 280 HP, awd, a Corvette tranny and ran 0-60 in 4.9 seconds and 5.1 in the rain and ran the 1/4 in 13 flat. I see one once in awhile at a local C&C. The only thing with the Syclone was you could only put 500 pounds in the bed.

GM doesn't stand a chance for the next seven years in the truck market.. Ford pulled this out in the last year of that body style and just back slapped Ram and GM

wrong

I can walk by a gm/dodge and breathe on it and the metal does not wave back at me like the broad sided fords do. Close the door on one and watch the metal wave at you.

"under consideration" means we have to trick the taxpayers in footing the bill for an answer to the best street "Baja" truck ever made

the Tremor has nothing to do with what you said or linked

you can get a 5.0 in a STX or XLT which will out perform the Ram any day of the week, twice on Sundays..

1. take money from taxpayers
2. pay off unions
3. pay off politicians
4. build vehicles copied from various manufacturers
5. claim to be the innovators based off glimpses in history
6. sell vehicles at a loss until bankruptcy
7. purchase politicians that distort the free market
8. repeat

is this better?

Why no V8 in it?

Not sure I get the point of this truck...I mean I get the idea, but the F-150 Lightning wasn't much of a success, nor was the SSR. Trucks don't make good sports cars.
