Blue reconsidered

Ive always liked my 95 Camaro's blue which is something of a darker Aqua Blue but it probably wouldnt have the same pazaz on a 5th gen lol. I do wish there was a lighter blue than IBM to choose.

They already painted a car in a fantastic blue; the blue they should have put on the production cars. Why they didn't use this blue is beyond me.

Isn't electron blue the same as aqua blue metallic? I swear I saw that on a GM color chart.

I hope I don't get bashed for bringing in another manufacturer.. but the Deep Water Blue that Chrysler is putting on some of the models is probably the nicest blue I've ever seen. It seems to be a metallic, shade darker than royal, blue.

The first I saw was on last year's Wrangler, to later find out that it's also being used on the Patriot, Caliber, and yes.. the Challenger.

Any color on Chevy's website is skewed unless its black or white. IBM on the website is the blue I want, but in person, its super dark. I saw a lazer blue Tahoe inside the dealership a few weeks ago, it doesn't look like the one in OP's pic, its purple when you get up close to it.

Ive seen some really good blues from Ford as well. I think it was on the F150 but i cant remember.

I dislike the fact that there is no "good" blue in the Camaro. I defaulted to white because of this. I wanted ABM or a blue a tad darker, but IBM is TOO dark. It looks black in a lot of situations.

I really like blue for a car, but with IBM as my only choice, I am going CGM and trying something different than what Ive had thanks for helping me choose GM. IBM hides its blue except for certain parts of the day.

If you judged ABM by looking at an HHR I think you made a mistake, it's not the same color. I saw a blue HHR at my dealer before my car was built and it was an awful shade of blue. The Chevy website and the color chip samples the dealers had of ABM were not good representations. Most of the photos I have seen and taken are also not good representations. I love my ABM and always get positive comments on the color.

I went to many a car shows hoping to see the Camaro in ABM but there never were any. After seeing the ABM Camaro in person, it's better than the HHR but still not my cup of tea. I would like to see a true blue, not blue/green, not blue/purple. Just my opinion.

WHEN you are in the hole, #1 thing to do is STOP DIGGING , go with black like i did and al that mess will stop and yeah i am color blind so what !!!x4
