I have axle-back Flowmaster AT's and on my last trip home (TX to GA) I calculated 32. Which came out to a tank and a half for the trip. The MPG read-out on my DIC never says higher than 27.9 though, and that's even if I reset it at the start of the trip when I first fill up.

The first 5 minutes of my commute is neighborhood roads, and I'm getting about 15 MPG. After that, the next 30 minutes is all highway. If I reset when I get on the highway, I'm getting around 30-31 MPG. If I don't reset it and drive round trip for a couple days I'm averaging around 29.8 MPG. I certainly can't complain about that. I'm interested in seeing if/how that changes once the CAI is installed. In the end though, the MPG is really to make the wife happy. The HP is to make me happy. |
