Just got a 2011 SS Convertble. (In the garage next to my 69) I would appreciate any input you guys can give me on splitters. I have read through past threads and have some ideas, but thought I would consult those of you have added splitters. Recommendations, things to look out for , unforseen problems you had, etc... Thanks.

I have the SLP splitter. No problems so far just remember to back into parking spots.

I have a ZL1 style splitter, painted to match, but be careful, these chip terribly.

I like those hood vents. Is that a mod or a whole different hood? It looks like a bigger cowl, but I'm not sure from the picture.

Mine is a 2011 SS convertible as well nd I went with the ACS T-4 splitter

Thanks. It's the Showstopper Heat Extractor hood. The cowl is indeed a inch taller than stock cowl. It's the best looking hood out there imo. Smooth and subtle.

Back to the topic at hand. The good thing I like about the 1LE splitter is you don't have to worry about painting it or rock chips/chipping paint because it's textured plastic. More durable and matches the ZL1 rockers if you decide to go that route.

I got a slp....fit like a glove...install can be done on ramps with bumper on car still.
