Interesting. Don't like the central exhaust though.

And fyi ... I think that at least the V6 Camaro is already technically mid engined. If not, it's very close. That photoshop appears to be a rear engined setup.

For future reference:

Front: engine is on or ahead of the front axle
Mid: engine is entirely between front and rear axles.
Rear: engine is on or behind rear axle.

For the Camaro to have a true rear-mid engine, the back axle would probably have be moved to provide enough space behind the driver. I know none of this really matters, I just thought I'd share.

I think that there is no rear engine car on the market , they all have MID ENGINE setup , that means the engine is located between the driver's seat and the rear wheels .:(

It's the only Lambo I would ever get. I don't really like the Lambo's but I fell in love with the Aventador.

Porsche 911 is the only one that comes to mind as a rear engined car, but they could have moved the motor far enough forward that it can now be called a mid engine. I don't think they did, because the purists would scream bloody murder over it.

Sorry ... I'm getting off topic

I am going to revive a dead thread due to the advent of the upcoming new Mid Engine Corvette.

Do you think as they have done with the Cadillac frame Chevrolet could do with the mid engine corvette frame.

Do you think there may be a day when Chevrolet has two mid engine cars.
Say the Camaro and Corvette.

Sorry for the resurrection, just curious thought
