Accessories for 600+ HP

Hey guys, I currently have a 2011 SS M6 and looking at putting an Edelbrock Eforce S/C on it in the next couple months along with a blower cam from TSP, which will put me just over 600 HP at the crank.

One of my main concerns is fuel.
I plan on buying some 63 lb injectors but unsure of good/reliable fuel injectors and pump to get, as the stock SS pump is only good to 600 HP.

I also plan on getting LT headers as well, would it be worth it to find a set of 2" rather than 1 7/8"? Ill be running with no cats, and x-pipe, and straight through mufflers behind the axle.

This is all the questions I have for now, I'm sure there wil be more to come once I get started on the project.

Thanks in advance.

Also if anyone has a set of LT headers they are trying to sell, I'd be interested, I'm planning on getting a set from TSP, but would buy a set of Kooks for a decent price.

Your will either get beat racing or get used to that power level, planning ahead is a great idea!

So if you don't want to waste money here are things to look at..

So get 85 LB injectors not 63, everyone will say to get Injector Dynamics 850s they are the best.. mainly because the tables when you tune all ready has info. So its the tuners preference. all tuners cost about 500 so if you find a tuner that can do FAST 85lbs save about 300 to 400.00 One place is 21st century muscle in Addison tx. they cn tune fast no problem and have perfect idle!

The TSP or the BTR is about the same the lingenfelter GT9 would be another good one provided the car is manual and has the lighter valves..

There are cheaper headers out there but the thing about Kooks is you will get a real good quality header coated for the price of uncoated other brands. Marylandspeed seemed to have best price then if jegs has them they match and beat price with no ship and tax.

Do a ZL1 pump the Eforce comes with a 3 bar so you will be good to 650rwhp or tad more.. If you do want like 700rwhp to 1000 later then ya do it once get squash or lingenfelter.

get the race eforce no injectors, no hand held tuner, smaller pulley.. for less than the complete kit!

The customer support at Eldelbrock is the best in the world.. hardly ever a wait will answer any questions and usually will replace parts free if out of warranty.. They just upgraded my kit that's 3 years old for free with the newer tensioner and I have no more belt slippage I'm at 660rwhp with a BTR cam

Agreed, buy 85lb injectors and get at least a ZL1 pump and BAP or go ahead and get LPE twins. I have the twins and FIC850cc and am 630rwhp or so. At 588rwhp my 60lb injectors were maxed out now Im at 65%

85lb and if you are paying labor, do twin pumps. No need to push zl1 pump to limits IMO. In my opinion, I would never run any fuel system at 85%+ of capacity.

You get coated headers because he is boosted to help control the heat problem under the hood so he can do all he can to fight a heat soaked engine..

2inch or 1 7/8.. need to be coated and Kooks are a good brand along with Stainless works (us version) china version not sure..

exactly my point.. kooks coated is cheaper than ARH 1 7/8 or 2inch.. if those were coated they would be 1900.00 vs 1100 or lower.. The savings could go towards a meth kit later and the money would be better spent because you would make more power with meth than a different set of headers..

If you are never going to run a tire, or be able to hook up, what is the point of making 600hp? If a 400hp car is faster, then I would take the 400hp car. Spinning tires gets old quick. So upgrade the axles/diff/rear/etc so you can plant 600, or keep it at power levels you can hook.
