Me too!! With snow tires on, this car is awesome, I can't see anyone not driving theirs, bad weather or not. I may have to wash it a lot more than usual, but at least I get to have fun in her still.

Been a month and a half, and I'm jonesin' for a hit of Camaro really bad.

It is kinda dusty, it could use a drive-through wash....and I probably should fill up the tank again, it's down to 3/4 from the time I've spent idling it.

What do you guys think?
Went through the same thing yesterday.

So I pulled him out of the garage and gave him a bath. Still too much crap on the roadways to go for a ride.

AVOID a drive-thorugh car wash...do it yourself.

I try and get mine out of the garage as much as possible as long as the roads are dry and the sun is out. Then I usually run it threw the DIY car wash just to make sure the salt dust isn't left on it. I wonder if the groundhog will see his shadow?

I'm confused. What's the rs package have to do with it?

Hit 40 yesterday and I had the bug bad. Roads are covered in salt and it's in storage so I just had to deal with it

OK, this is what I will be doing next winter, since I don't have her this year... First, some time in the fall, I am going to order myself a set of 18" Winter Tires/Rims from Tirerack (about 1800 for the set). On days where there is pavement showing and it's not snowing, I will be driving her. They have self wash car washes right across the street from my house, so she will get a bath before she goes back into the garage. I also, will be purchasing a JUNKER to drive on the days it does snow or there is a lot of snow on the ground.

I have a question for those who are driving their Maros in the snow. Those with 2SS and M6, how does it handle w/ the SKIP SHIFT? Do skipping from 1st to 4th actually give you better grip. I would thing since the RPMs would be lower in 4th vs 2nd, that there would not be much spinning of the tires on slush/snow.

i know the feeling OP, mine is up at my parents house (since they have a large parking pad, and i live in a townhouse), a couple hours away and with it suppose to get to 50 today im REALLY close to just heading up there and taking her for a spin. but the roads still have so much shit on them I would have to wash the car after.

I believe RS package has summer only tires, not all season

They don't use salt and sand here anymore. It's some kind of green stuff. It turns the blacktop white also, but it then just blows away in a few days. It has not snowed here in a week and the roads are now black again. Took it for a 1/2 hour ride today and it was still clean when it went back into the garage.

I was gonna take mine out on new years eve but it started to snow so I left it covered. It's a good thing I left it because after the party I was at was over I drove home in my truck and at about 3 am while I was stopped at a light I was rear ended by a car that was rear ended by another car that slid in the snow. Thank God I wasn't in my Camaro or it would have been a homicide. As much as I want to drive her she's gonna stay parked till the ground is dry.

RS changes to Midnight Silver rims- tires are the same. All SS models come with "summer" tires.
