Technically, no long-tube headers (recommended with this pkg) will pass emissions/visual inspection anywhere, but with a proper tune, you can get virtually anything to pass the standard OBD2 testing done in most areas. If you didn't install headers, you would be GTG even if you have visual inspections, as long as you stuck with the LS7 intake manifold (just have it ported).

At this power level, the z28 should smoke a zl1. Zl1 makes this power after adding all the pulleys, tune, injectors and headers. The z28 is lighter.
Have you guys confirmed this with any z28s you built? |

At 575/500, I don't think I could "smoke" a ZL1 that had any mods. Possibly faster than a nearly stock ZL1.
