Anyone noticed these reinforced "ribs" in the newer replacement tops?
They seems to bracket some but not all of the bows.
They feel thicker than the surrounding material.

Looks like almost time to do the top swap.
Do either of you have the other issues? |

Falundir,
My top (installed a couple month ago) has not given me any problems. I'm very happy with it (so far). That said an experienced installer is key. Mine was done by an outside upholstery shop owner himself. He had previously done them for several rental cars and other owners before he did mine. He said the top replacement is NOT for the beginner. If you make it over to the mid peninsula, send me a PM. I'm happy to show it to you.

Appreciated. I will probably take you up on that when the time comes. Been dragging my feet hoping for a permanent fix.
