Seat belt is sharp
Is it just me, or does anyone else get a little creeped out at how much of an edge is on the side of the seat belt? Everytime I feel it on my neck I think I'm going to get my neck slashed! I get even more freaked out imagining if I came to a sudden stop, that thing will probably cut my neck open then! Im always adjusting the seat belt so it doesnt rub my neck or tuck it under my collar if Im wearing a polo. Anyone else going through this or am I just a big weirdo?

Many folks have posted about the seat belt fitment/functionality/lack of adjustment. I just ignore it. I think a persons height makes it worse or better/less uncomfortable.

It's annoying at the most. Don't really know about 'sharp'...

It gave me a nasty scratch when I was in my accident. Looked like someone slit my neck.

I agree. I don't know if it is sharp, but it's just annoying where is rests by my neck. Check out this thread for some more info:

I run mine through the strap on the seat and I can't even tell I have it on. And, no the little magnet does not pop off.

It does bother me. I've debated getting one of those little clips to hold it slightly lower so it doesn't touch my neck, but so far haven't.
I do wonder about the correlation between height and seat belt comfort. I'm 5'6'' and it definitely runs over my neck, which I think would actually be bad in an accident. |

When I first started cruising around I thought dang, this seat belt is going to eventually saw through my neck. Now that I have had the car about 4 months I have just gotten use to it touching my neck, that and I adjusted my seat a little more until it wasn't "as much" of an issue. You could always consider the center lean...you know, where you are trying to drive from the passenger seat, let me know if it helps...lol.

Go to your dealer and ask for the 9 inch seat belt extension. This moves the belt away from your neck and it's free of charge! It's also nice because if you leave it plugged into the receptacle, the seat belt warning no longer chimes because it always detects that the belt is plugged in. Of course I don't recommend driving like this!!

When I wear t-shirts I usually feel it, but I naturally kind of lean towards the center of the car anyways. Not sure why.
