ATTN: GM LS Motor owners Fidanza Cares :) 1.0 Clutch

Just caught this on Fidanza's website... http://www.fidanza.com/newsarticle.aspx?id=120

Budget clutch kit including a iron flywheel and everything else... holds 440 ft. lbs to the wheels... I like when manufactures think like this, it helps fill a economic void... I called a vendor for a price on the kit for my brother in laws SS to use as a stock replacement... It was under $300 for the full kit!!! Had to share with the Camaro5 family

With specs like that it seems like a stock replacement clutch.

The disc is comparable to stock. The pressure plate has a higher clamp load than stock and the package itself is much less expensive, no extra GM markup taxes on it

For a clucth replacement, or even for a stcok car that will get some aggressive driving, this will be a great choice. But if you have a cam, or supercharger, then it is out....It just wouldn't be enough...But I do agree there is an obvious market for this one.

Had a chance over the long weekend to ride in a C5 Vette (bolt ons) and drive it... with this 1.0 kit installed... was very smooth and consistent.
