I have the Street Slayer twin carbon.
Long story short.

I ruined my LS3, and while installing my new LSX 429, the throw out bearing that came with the clutch fell apart in my hands. Does anyone know what the part number for this bearing is?

I'm pretty sure it is a standard bearing for something, that I may be able to purchase locally, and continue with my project.

Figured it out!
It is just the bearing portion of the release assembly for a 2005 Ford Ranger.
I had to purchase the whole slave assembly to get it. Not to bad-$65 at O'Reilly's.

Im not telling you it will not work but it is not what we use...We use OE only,

It is the exact same SKF bearing part number as the one that fell apart.

The original bearing did not fail, it literally fell apart. The seal that held it together came out, allowing the races to separate.

I am using the bearing only-nothing else from the slave assembly I purchased.

Don't anyone get me wrong-I love the clutch. The bearing was the issue and I just wanted to keep moving along.

I'm not bad mouthing the Street Slayer. It lived through 850 hp at the Texas Mile-sadly the LS3 did not. 4 burned pistons and 5 bent rods-I did drive it 800 miles home that way.

I unferstand..there was no issue with thw bearing until u pulled the motor out correct..someone may think you had an issue and that's why you pulled it..

That is correct-just checking things out prior to re-installing the trans. I was wiping off the bearing and it came apart in my hands. All back in now.
