Help with simple sub setup
Hey, I've been looking and looking through these threads and searching about doing a subwoofer install and it still isn't very clear to me how to do this.
I have the BA system in my 2013 2SS/RS. If I just want to replace withe factory amp with something a little better, and have one or two subs in the trunk for some extra bass, what would you guys recommend? I don't need a crazy ridiculous system, and I want to keep the cost fairly low, but I am okay with spending a little more for a JL audio setup. Don't want to spend more than around $600ish for the parts. if that's reasonable...? I will build my own enclosure for the speakers because I want to be able to quickly take the enclosure in and out before races. So what do I need? Amp Sub(s) Wiring harness? If you guys could help me out with some links, that would be greatly appreciated.

You can use this harness to not splice any of your factory wiring and then you can swap out the amp with the amp of your choice.

Non BA system.
Jeff_SS I finally found all of my pictures again and will just post them up here later after work. It will make it more clear. I used the PAC SOEM-T line out converter. The amp, subs, and box all depend on how many subs you want to run and how much space you want to take up in the trunk. Here are the 2 setups I have had for sub/amp combos:
