LED DRLs? Any Custom ZL1 Bezels out there?
I really wanted to get the RideSkinz bumper especially for their bottom fog/drls LEDs, here's what they look:
I instead got the ZL1 bumper for my SS since I can't ship the RideSkinz to me So I was thinking of going to a Fiberglass shop and modifying the Bezels to fit an LED strip (bar?) I don't want a simple cosmetic look I actually want LEDs to emit light because my normal RS headlights are weak for some reason. What do you think? The new 2016 Camaros kind of do this. I found out Pyr0b0y did this for his Tron camaro, but he didn't even put in any bezels, I saw a track photo where you can see the tire through the bezel area. with little creeping on photobucket I found this: You can see the cables through. I think he figured the bezels were all in the way. So, I bought the ZL1 bumper but I didn't install it yet, and I want to do this right, Would it be better to customize the bezels? They are $16 each online, or could use some black mesh instead? Any advice on the mesh? Or where do I even get those LED DRLs?

Closest thing to an answer for the LEDs can be found here http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=388
As far as mesh, just try to find some honeycomb mesh from somewhere. The finer the mesh, the less visibility to the wires you'll have. You can also secure the extra wires behind the plastic of the bumper |
