I'd look into their reliability before you buy a specific used Polaris ATV. Back when I was in the market in 04 they had a bad reputation for spending more time at the shop then on the trail.

We have 2 Polaris Sportsman 700's. Since 2004.... neither one has EVER been in the shop.... just my experiences....

That's cool, I have a 2004 Kawasaki Prairie 700 V-twin that has been a blast since day 1. I traded a 2003 Yamaha Grizzly 660 for it because I wanted more power and the ability to power slide it due to the SRA. It was the sportiest 4x4 back then and won all the shootouts, now that I'm 10 years older I kinda wish I had the cushy IRS and seat of the Grizzly back.

I prefer sport quads myself. Im always sketched out by the way the 4x4's handle.
That out of the way I do love my Yamaha Raptor 700. Its a absolute beast. |

I'd stick with Honda, the only thing I would buy from the Polaris corporation would be one of those victory high ball motorcycles
