GTO or Camaro would win?

i was curious. been a Pontiac person a long time, but have a new 2 LT . i noticed a 2004 GTO in my subdivison. i looked that car model up online, and guess its a 350 with 350 HP, 3.46 axle 4 speed auto and weighs 3725 pds per specs on line. do you think the v6 camaro would be faster than this I would guess the SS camaro would faster with 400 hp/auto despite the weight difference.

Doubt it. I've seen stock GTO's go low 13's at 108-109. Mine did.

I previously owned an 04 and 06 GTO. The 04 has the LS1 (350hp) and the 05/06 has the LS2 (400). I think my SS is faster but no way the GTO should lose to a stock V6 Camaro!!

My buddies lS2 GTO pulled down a 13.1 on street tires, terrible air and no traction with long tubes, and intake, exhaust, and a diablo tune.

LS2 > SS. I've raced plenty of SSs. I could do 12.8s stock. 12.4s with just a CAI/Suspension upgrade. Mine did dyno at 380rwhp which is better then most.
