ECS Base Kit + ECS Big Blower Cam + RPM 4L80e = 10.46 @ 134 (4200lb+ raceweight)
Been a long time coming, but finally had a chance to get out today and take advantage of some good ol' Illinois 'mine shaft' air with the new setup. Read about it all the time on the east coast, but I've never had a chance to race in -296 DA air before
Things didn't start well... found out when I got to the track that it was 'Diesel Drag Day' - which meant 100+ knobby tired, 4x4 diesels from across the Midwest were there to tear up the track. Made 6 passes total... wasn't able to make a clean pass the first 5; best was an 11.0 @ 132 on a 1.98 60' (car typically 60's in the 1.6 range with the new stall). Didn't have high hopes for the last pass... Lucked out and they re-prepped the track right before they sent my lane through... I had been trying everything to 60' without spinning, but for this pass I figured to hell with it... knew I needed to head out after this pass so I just decided to go for it. Footbraked to 2800 and let it rip... flashed to 3800rpm and still spun a little out of the hole, but nothing like the earlier runs. Car was loose on the big end (by this time I was running 17psi in the DR's trying to get some traction) but was able to steer through it and finally run a decent time. Car was full weight - absolutely zero weight reduction. Last time at the scales it weighed in at 4200lbs with me in it and 1/4 tank of gas. Ran today with 1/3 tank, so if anything was a little heavier than usual. Big thanks to Chris, Doug, Tommy, and the guys at ECS, as well as Rodney, Kenny, TJ, Todd, and the guys at RPM!! Car performed flawlessly once I was finally able to get some traction As soon as my wallet recovers from the past few months, I'll (hopefully) continue to move towards my ultimate goal of a high-9 sec full-weight street car Paul...

Much jealous. That looks like a bulletproof combo that should provide easy mid 10 second slips for year to come. Well done, sir.

Thanks everyone! BTW, here's a copy of the slip for those that were interested in the splits...

Yes... although I think drivability would suffer. As it sits now it's a perfect compromise between daily driving/weekend drag racing... and I have plans to make a few other adjustments over the winter so I don't think I'll want to go any looser

Shane, were you running a 6L80E all that time? How did it hold up? I've seen vids of you cars on YT racing it a ton - Props!

Yea tuned properly they can last for sure, mine had 2 years of n2o ran on it and over a year of being boosted.Had a Yank3200 in it with a nice size cooler, towards the end of owning the car i added a Camaro deep pan and "wide mouth" filter.
