Unless going for 1200HP think the whipple & tvs better especially for auto. That low end tq get u off the line better..
u have HP goal in mind? Though constantly go up lol

I'm at 500 rwhp and to be honest, I think that's plenty for the street. You can have a lot of fun, but you really can't drive the car to it's full potential on the street. Even stock, it's hard to let the beast loose for long without hitting very high speeds or drawing a lot attention. 600 HP would be cool, but you better make sure you can put it to the ground. My car is pretty traction limited in the first few gears. I also have 3.70 gears, which I'm sure aren't helping my traction, but boy are they fun I'm not so much of a top speed kinda guy. I love all that low end TQ!

Yeah, I'm sure tires will make a big difference. Not sure what I will get, but I'm definitely thinking of changing when the P-zeros are shot. They don't really cut it any more. I want to keep my stock rims, but go with a little wider rear tire.

Can you put those on just the rear, and leave the front stock, or would that look weird?

Mods are:
Stainless Power 1 7/8" Lt headers HF cats C.A.I. inc, intake SOLO Axle back Lethal Racing Tune It was 383 tq, then he tweaked the VVT and retarded the timing a couple degrees and went up to 396 tq Last edited by vroomapunk; 07-21-2013 at 02:16 PM. |
