Scotchy scotchy scotch

Enjoying a nice glass of Glenmorangie Nectar D'or 12 year old right now. Just right for a warm evening. Tremendously tasty for my palate, the slightly sweet intro sets this scotch up well for a quick buildup and lasting finish with a mild burn. Smooth like glass, love it.

My Dalwhinnie 15 is shooting me angry looks... it'll have to wait its turn.

Dude, I don't know, that sounds like it is not going to be a fair fight. You know full well that hi end scotches are known for teaming up, you should have asked for backup. I am only a convenient 10 hours away, but when a friend, in danger of being overrun by scotch calls, you have to answer

That Scotchity Scotch sounds mighty tasty sir. A fine choice if I may say so. I do not have such a rare vintage but my freshly squeezed rocky margaritas will just have to do.

Well, yesterday I had this pesky work thing at 7 am, and then I went to the Toadies show after work, then I got in a 1:45 am and got up at 5:30 am for that pesky work thing again. I'm not as young as I used to be. Used to be I'd just stay out until work time then punch the clock and hit it. Now I need four hours of sleep every few days.

I really hope they ran tape during that show. Two hours. It's the 20th anniversary of their first album, and their first set was that whole album. They kill-kill-killed. Clark Vogeler is incredible.

I've had the 15 and loved it. I usually don't go older (unless at a restaurant) though cuz it's too expensive. Usually if I spend that kind of money it's because my car just got faster/better looking.

The Toadies are still at it? I'm gonna have to remember to fire up Possum Kingdom tomorrow during my club's cruise.

OK, this is going to sound really stupid (because I'm not a big drinker).

I opened the bottle of Glenlivit, shared some of it with some friends about a month ago. I'm curious how quickly I need to drink the rest...or if it's fine for a while with the cork/cap on.
