Chrome hood logos
If you put a LARGE Chrome SS Bowtie under your hood OR put the stainless mirror under your hood will it in any way:
1. cause a heat build up that affects either the engine in any way OR 2.cause a problem with the paint on the hood or the stripes since this piece will hold heat? |

Its not large enough to cause any damage. Also, with the paint, you have the hood insulation which will keep this from harming the paint.

But wouldn't it be bad-ass for your car to have the Chevy bowtie "stigmata" burning through the paint on your hood??? hahahah

If you get one that fits in the bowtie "dent" in the insulation, it's not a problem. I have one. It's quite thin and, therefore, light weight (you don't want it too heavy for the insulation to hold it) and there are no heat issues. |

No problem with heat whatsoever. Made thin for mounting okay with the hood insulation. Nice stuff.

Those others are nice but they start at 80.00 then add the printing, finish, etc. Gets pricey.
