Netflix/Blockbuster/Hulu
Cable
home phone
home internet

Are there really people out there that spend $400+ a month on all that??? it's just too much. I'm already paying $140 for 2 cell phones because "data" is so gosh darn "valuable" My wife probably uses about 100MB/mo, so worth $30/mo... *cough*
Sirius/XM = $36 a month for 2 radios (one's a Sirius in my wife's car, no multi-radio discount..)

Total - $333 just for that crap you listed, not counting mortgage, insurance, gas, electricity, water, sewer, trash pick up, making sure I can retire...etc..

Damn.. I need to cancel stuff. My wife is really going to miss her Sirius..

I have XM until May that I ordered for $25 for 6 months. Don't think I will renew unless I get an even better deal. It has probably over 50 Sports stations and about 20 foreign stations, useless to me. I find myself only listening to maybe 4 or 5 stations if that. XM is ok if you are a sports junky, live in a rural area and cant get over the air stations or you do a lot of long distance road trips. I could easily do without xm.

They like to do that and then hammer you later. I would be a bit concerned...

Weird.. my free 3 month trial was supposed to expire today. This morning I was able to listen to Howard Stern and O&A for free. When I got in my Camaro after work Stern channel didn't work anymore. But the other "normal" music stations worked. I got a letter in the mail to extend for an extra month for 99 cents. But if I don't cancel after a month then they got my CC info and will start charging. What's the deal with 2 weeks free? Are there any special promotions with these 2 weeks? I think my free On Star ended today too.
