"Commando" 1985
Matrix: [holds Sully upside-down over a cliff by his leg] Listen, loyalty is very touching. But it is not the most important thing in your life right now! But what IS important is gravity! I have to remind you Sully, this is my weak arm! Sully: You can't kill me Matrix! You need me to find your daughter! Matrix: Where is she? Sully: I don't know. But Cooke knows, I'll take you to where I'm supposed to meet him! Matrix: But you won't. Sully: Why not? Matrix: [holds the hotel key he stole from Sully that Cooke is staying at] Because I already know. Remember, Sully, when I promised to kill you last? Sully: That's right, Matrix! You did! Matrix: I lied. [Matrix releases Sully, who falls to his demise] a little while later... Cindy: What happened to Sully? Matrix: I let him go. So many awesome one liners in that movie. |

Arnold has been taking drugs or something since he's been governator.

I was in San Diego the day he got egged, saw it on live TV. He didn't even flinch, let alone acknowledge it. We all just about died laughing.

Mine is "to crush your enemies, to see them driven before you and to hear the lamentations of their women. "

I think it's actually a good movie. It's not Howard's Conan, but it 'works' within its own framework. The musical score is fantastic. And you get to hear Arnold say things like:
"Crom laffs atcha four wins. He laffs from his mountin."

I couldn't get enough of the Conan books as a kid. The movie probably came out when I was about twelve or thirteen. Loved it. Looking back its not as good as I remember but I still watch both of Arnold's Conans whenever they're on. Arnold could hardly speak English that early in his career. Not that its much better now. I tried to count how many lines of dialogue he had. Couldn't have been more than twenty.
