cherry popped at 9.67

Well my Camaro had its first drag strip experience yesterday and I must say I am verry happy ........only bolt on's mods are : short ram injen intake, magnaflow cat-back, everything else is stock, no slicks or anything my goal of course is to get 9.0 without any further bolt on's but rather precise timing and weight saving opportunities

My car is a 2011 LS with an airaid intake. Besides that its bone stock.

I'll fix the post later with the proper form to submit my time.

You will prolly need to add a sawzall to your tool kit for losing weight and with the stock tune being so good you prolly won't get much there. Good luck though! BTW, great run !

Impressed. Manual or auto?
I've had my share of .00 lights (used to be .500's also).
Glad to see you're having fun with it.

Thanks! Even thought it's a V6 I still like racing faster cars so I can get em on the tree.
It's an automatic, but I also race my dad's 88' Mustang (manual) that does low 7's in the 1/8 mile.

v6 mustang timeslip

just wanted to say, the timeslips here are pretty pathetic for what camaros are supposed to be. my 09 v6 mustang is running near equivalent times ( to the top times, better than most of em ) with only an intake and exhaust.

1/8 mi-9.4
1000 ft - 12.1

buddy got a camaro and i was wondering what i was up against... and to think i was worried. but i think i figured out why it was so slow... --->

comments/criticism?
