LS3 heads need a certain amount of duration split between intake and exhaust to be optimal.

Id consider:
Stg 1 220's intake
Stg 2 Low to mid 230's
Stg 3 High 230's and up

These numbers are for a L99 VVT cams Texas Speed

Stage one = imaginary
Stage two = arbitrary
Stage three = arbitrarily imaginary


The reason there are different stages, is so that clueless buyers will have a better idea of what they're getting into. Its easier to explain that 2 is more radical then 1, then actual cam science and engine physics.
