Subwoofer Install with custom box (PICS)
So I've been waiting a while and finally decided to install my subs. This was my idea for a box, and I like it a lot.
Just took a VIDEO OF IT. Sounds really shitty with a regular camera inside the cab, but maybe you'd be interested to see it anyway. I'm really happy with the way it turned out. The subs REALLY KNOCK and I love it. You can't go wrong with memphis! For those interested in specs: 2 Memphis 12'' M3 Subwoofers Memphis PRD 1.1000 amplifier

Now this is a REALLY nooby question, but why are subwoofers installed in the trunk sometimes? Can you even feel them when in the front? It seems like only the air in the trunk would be moving, and the passengers wouldn't feel it.

Bass frequencies propagate through almost anything, so even though its in the trunk, most (like 99%) of the bass will go straight through the seats and rear dash into the car. A 1/2 inch steel plate would have a better chance of stopping a 50. cal sniper rifle then it would a 60hz sound frequency! |

No, sounds very clean. I had to fade the treble to the front, but the rich Boston highs mixed with the premium Memphis bass lows makes for the sweetest setup i've ever heard personally

Yessir I did, so there is no rattle inside, and only a mild/actually nice sounding rattle from outside the cab in the trunk area. To everyone else: Thanks for the feedback/compliments
