it is actually ONE car and it changes form similar to the previous show's super pursuit mode or silly pop-out mode as i called it there are 3 cars used on this project one is the regular GT500KR, a special version that can be remote controlled up to a MILE away, and the 'Attack' car with the modified aerodynamics. the car on the show will be able to alter its color and shape if need be. here is a video of the 'cars' in action, note the first car is the driverless 'remote' car.
Meet the Knight Rider Mustangs hey, i just realized the KR in the GT 500KR could stand for knight rider oh and here is a shot of the new car's interior other than the computer keyboard i like the rest

It will be nice to see a prime time action show, even if it stars a mustang.

It's been overdone. That stang looks too tacky to me...too many gadgets.

It’s Night Rider, that’s what it’s all about…

Nahh....that looks nothing like the old KITT. It was plain. And...when Michael pushed a button, everything opened. Everything is already open...and if not, it's still too overdone.

Did you not watch the video? Why do you think there are three different versions...? So when who ever is playing the star pushes the little red button, it sifts into “Super Tacky” really no need for mode…

Knight Rider was the gayest show on television so having a mustang for kitt is perfect.
