Great Information.

I started a thread with market share data, based on model year, going back to 2004. I'll be updating it soon.

Except for the fact the 6th Gen was on sale in November.

Maybe low availability...

How about a graph that shows the monthly sales of the 5th gen, from the day it went on sale to now, overlaid on a graph that shows the monthly sales of the 6th gen, from the day it went on sale to now.

If you look at that graph...in April 09 it sold 614 cars..in May of 09 it jumped to 5,463, and then 9,320 in June of 09.

Brand new generation there, with pent up demand and production ramping up.

it's peak was in April of 2011 with 10,852.

My son's call Mustangs "Me too cars" especially around military bases..
Example, "What kind of car you got?"
"A mustang"
"Me too!"

So we'll have to revisit this thread in November or December of 2017 to see if the 6th gen sales that month beat the 5th gen monthly sales at the 2 year mark.
Can't use "pent-up demand" as a reason at the 2 year mark.

Enator, when can we expect these postings to switch over to camaro6?

Just so we know where to check in the coming months.
