scratches on radio face

I have noticed a lot of cars that the radio face has a lot of scratches on it. Anyone else notice this? Is there a wax you can use. I am using just a clean towel and it seams like there are a lot of scratches. Any help would be appreciated.

I use Adams VRT on my plastic and it makes the fine scratches go away, not to mention how great it works on rubber trim and tires! They have great stuff especially their microfiber. So soft it is insane!

Any polish you use on plastics or acrylic is just "filling" in the plastics. So there is no way of actually removing them. I guess you could get an invisible shield put on it. If you go here: http://www.zagg.com/invisibleshield/index.php

you can just buy a sheet of it and cut it yourself.

if you just drag a dry paper towel accross the face it with leave scratches you have to always use an optical cleaner or it will scratch ,.... use lens cleaner they sell at eyewear stores

You can polish it out with Novus products. Use the #2 to polish it out, then follow up with Novus #1 which cleans and leaves a protective coating. I've been using this stuff for years in the pinball/ video game industry and it's a great product!

I noticed the same thing, for some reason the face is extremely sensitive, I washed the car for the first time this weekend and wiped the radio face once with a paper towel and noticed tons of light scratches. I was planning on trying some zaino on it, just never got around to it.

The other day I wiped down my interior with Meguiars "Quick Detailer" for interiors and it filled in the fine scratches. The stuff is great, it's safe for all surfaces.
