Hey P, What you're going to want to do with the Z-Force hood to get the full benefit of the true ram induction is this. It's great that you have an open air box where your filter is already, and you'll notice on the MPD1 hood that there's a hole right above the air box that leads from the wide mouth opening on top of the hood. But your box is too big to use the standard gasket Eric sends with the hood, because it was designed for use with the CAI, Inc box, but the fix is simple. You have a rubber gasket that runs around the top of your box now, but it's probably not big enough to form the seal needed when the hood is closed. So you just need get a channel gasket(just like the one on there now & the one that runs on inside of bumper at top) that will be high/large enough to form a seal once hood is closed. I doubt the gasket you have running around the box will do the trick as it was designed with the stock hood in mind. Measure your box around, including fender side and that will be the length you'll need. Your goal is to form a seal from your box to bottom of the hood. Just look how my gasket runs around the box opening, you want to do the same thing and although your opening is bigger, as long as the seal is made your good.

Who knows maybe the gasket on there now may do the trick, one way to find out is once hood is mounted, use some masking or painters tape and lay it sticky side up around your box & close hood, then open and if tape is stuck to the underneath of hood your good. But I'd recommend getting the largest channel gasket you can to ensure as much of an air tight seal as possible. Then you're good to go reaping all the benefits of the hood.

Regarding my Pfadt castor/camber plates that will also cure your alignment issue. You're having the issue because GM did not design it wiith camber/castor in mind, they drilled the holes needed where the stock shocks are but they left it as is...I know, I know, it sounds confusing, blame GM. The Pfadt plates will work with your stock suspension and also down the road when you make the switch to coilovers.

This is what you have now, except the black cap is removed.

Once you remove the stock plunger and replace with these plates, you'll be able to dial in the alignment. That's still the same nut used, so that's one of the benefits, they'll work with stock & coil overs.

Let me know if you want to buy them & a plane ticket to Lebanon.
