At 2500 miles I changed mine with a premium conventional oil and I will run this oil for 2500 more miles. At 5000 miles I will then switch to Mobile 1 from then on.
The reason I do this is I believe the synthetics are just too good at what they do to allow the rings to seat properly during break in (IMO).

Mobil 1 Extended w/K&N filter......I also use Redline. I still change at 3K - moreso due to that relatively small filter.

Do you wait the 15000 miles to change the oil using the Mobil 1 Extended Performance?

Nope never have and never will. I don't believe an oil change interval of 15k miles is a good idea on any car you care for at all. On my last car (2009 Malibu LTZ with the I4 Ecotec) I used it on I would go 7500 miles, but in this car I go between 3k and 5k miles before change pending how I've been driving her.

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

I just did my first oil change on the Camaro, but I'll use anything GM certified for use. The list is here: http://gmdexos.com/licensedbrands.html

Found a deal at AutoZone $17.99 for 5 quarts and a filter and added another quart of Quaker State full synthetic so thats what she gets this round. Couldn't pass up a deal and GM says it meets their Dexos requirements.
