Wiper alert
Going to the Grand Run and 100 miles from home in the pouring rain the wippers stopped dead in their tracts. I stopped and checked the fuse box and sure enough fuse #6 was blown. We got onstar to get us to the nearest dealer that was 15 miles away. When we got there the tech guy put in another fuse and bang, blew it too, so had to go deeper turns out the bar that connects the two wippers together had sawed into the wiring harness and shorted it out, lucky it was not the wiper motor. He called GM and they had not heard of this before. They had to take pics and send them in with how the repair was made. There will ba a recall on this problem so get ready. Also beware if going somewhere in the rain.

Good luck with that bigd, i have prayed for that day but it rained on my car anyway, of course i had it for 9 days before it rained so it wasn't all bad.

No issues here so far
4000 miles after 4 months. I have used the wipers a handful of times with no issues yet.

is it an issue that all cars will likely have? or do you think that it might just be a flaw that is limited to your car that was caused by an isolated mistake on the line?

Repair order says cowl boot causes wire harness to be up to high. Sounds like a lot of cars can have this problem sooner or later to me.

1600 miles and this week it has rained every day. Don't think I have this issue.
