Is the Meguair's DA power system kit any good?
I have swirl marks in my car and a friend at work said he uses this system. It attaches to a drill and you use it to polish or wax your car. I have also been looking at the porter cable 7424xp which I know is good. I just wanted to see if anyone had an experience with the Meguairs DA power system because it is a much cheaper route to go. You can see the product on the link below.

Personally, I wouldn't go that route. Haven't seen it in action but I highly doubt it can come close to a good DA. The XP is a good one and I hear good things about the Griots. You'll pay almost double for the ones below but they are far better solutions.

Thanks for the reply. I think the Meguiar's option would be more difficult to work with also because you have to hold the drill up for a flat surface contact. I just thought I would ask because I did some searching on the forum and could not find any posts on this kit. Thanks

I bought the Meguairs system at Wally World, and I think it does a good job on my Camaro, I use the Adams 4 inch pads and it has made my car shine and it is good for the areas that are too small for the 6 inch.

I'm sure it would work fine for applying waxes/sealants but paint correction needs some power behind it and the ones you and I mentioned are almost fool proof. Most of the better waxes go on and off so easy, you don't need a machine to apply them.

For a little DA polisher it does work, I use the swirl and haze remover and fine machine polish and finish with sealant, no water spots and nice and shiney.
