new appreciation for a color other than IBM
I have to say, after being at the c5 fest today, I was amazed at how great a color the now-canceled ABM is! It definitely shows off the curves of the car, as the shade of the color changes based on how its capturing the light. I almost wonder if I bought the wrong color! Nah I still love my IBM, but ABM would have been a close close second now that I've seen more of them in person...obviously they're still pretty rare to see on the road, and won't be getting more common anytime soon. Especially if you keep it clean, just a gorgeous color!
Oddly enough, I don't feel like it was the rarest color at the fest. my guess would be that would go to either my very own IBM, or Synergy Green (which is kind of exempt since it was more recently released) Anyways, just thought I'd share my new observation |

I agree ABM in my opinion looks pretty terrible in pictures but looks great in person, sadly I fear that this is a big reason that ABM got let go, bad press :(.
RJT is my color, RJT, IBM, and CGM.

I liked ABM, it was my second choice of color. I have to admit, I've seen the ocean that shade of blue before.
I think it may have not been as popular as it was said above, the way it looked on GM's website. Take the midnight silver wheels for example. They are not that black. In fact cleaned up and in person, it is kind of hard to tell the SS stock, Midnight silvers, and the Polished from one another. Specially the SS stock and polished. The ambient lighting goes great with Aqua blue by the way! |

Can't go wrong with ABM....the low #'s and poor photoshop representation on the GM Website almost make me wonder if a few of the powers that be at GM, gung ho on cancelling ABM to make room for Synergy Green, did everything to sabotage its success. According to recent polling on C5, they made a big mistake! Hard to believe they didn't give it atleast one full model year, and produce SG in more limited #'s just to test the market.

I like my ABM as well and never regreted my color choice.
