Inspection, general at refineries and chemical plants , but have completed inspections in power plants, oil rigs, ship yards, oil fields, gas plants, paper mills, office buildings, and even a gold mine. My first job was "inspecting" Evaporator and Condenser for the chiller at the Uiveristy of Texas campus. Of course I was just a hand, an assistant.

But anyway, I have Level II certifications in: ET, MT, PT, UT, and VT. But I usually work a Tubing Data Analyst, speciallizing in ECT, RFT, and IRIS. But also, able to perform, NFT / XRFT, and MFL.

Im a traveling sales guy for the marine "boating" industry. I travel 3-5 nights a week maintaining my dealer base, and looking for new business, which has been a struggle in this economy.
If business was like it was back in 2005-2007, I would roll out a new ZL1...

Have been in the boating business for 22 years.

I assure you that seeing what a person is driving down the road tells you approximately nothing about their income. Some folks will have the $40k car, and it's all they can do to make that payment and the note on their single wide. Some folks will have the same exact car, along with several other cars at home, and live in a 4000 sq ft paid for home with a pool on a golf course.

I'm an accounting professor and CPA, and I'm with the "I don't spend any money on smoking or drinking" crowd. Oh, and I didn't buy the $40k car simply because I didn't care to.

Petroleum technician. Install, repair and maintain fuel dispensers, point of sale systems and fuel management systems for retail fuel stations. The wife also works too, so dual income and a low mortgage leaves us plenty for some toys.

Professor, single, 3 cats. Excellent credit now but did get in over my head 10-12 years ago. No longer carry debt month-to-month still have a nice highrise apt., drink/smoke and high vet bills (always seem to have at least one pet with medical issues). Two cars paid. My 2LT was about $38,000 (its Canada don't you know), paid cash about $35,500 new out the door including taxes. Been driving since 1967, financed one auto in the mid 80s and regretted it.
Know many people making less income than myself but driving more expensive cars. Difference is I am debt free/stress free and they are not.
