Pretty good day in the driveway
We're running out of good driveway weather here in the Boston area, but I did get a few things done today:
- Installed the DD side marker lights, smoked goes well with the nightfall gray - easy install even with the GM mud guards in place, I dd remove some torx to pull back the liner. Was there an update to this product? Install video I saw said to check the function and reverse the polarity if the LED does not light, but every one worked the first time for me. - Oil change and stahlbus valve install. As I torqued the stahlbus valve I said to myself that it will be awhile before I remove it so make it 'pretty tight' - sheared right off. Was able to easily remove with the right sized screwdriver, no extractor needed. Done with that thing. - Rear diff oil change, convertible cross-members make it a slight challenge but it went well, will see if this gets rid the groan I get on the first couple of hard turns when cold. - Took off the polished VS03's with MPS4S, I'm going to miss those for the next few months. Got my winter set of Sottozero 3's on the OEM gray split spokes. Probably more winter tire than I need, anyone run a ultra high performance all season for the winter and just stay out of the worst conditions? I did notice a small bit of oil on one of the rear mag ride shocks - is any amount oil leaking considered normal? |

Demon Hunter - play on words, especially if you keep doing engine mods/upgrades.
