yeah. quite a problem for me. I sold my car two months ago so I am on borrowed time. I didn't expect my car to sell 1 week within listing it so I'm kind of left high and dry right now.

Plus, I've been driving a 2007 Infinity G35s auto since selling my car and I'm kind of getting used to driving an auto so I may be willing to flop if I can find someone to sell it to me at MSRP.

How does your car still have a TPW of May 18th? What was your original TPW if you had one.

I'm trying. Problem is that I need a car. 2005 CTS-V 6-speed is looking really good right now....I just need to see some kind of progress with the Camaro V6 M6.

I went to 3000 on 3/26 and got the TPW of 5/18 from my dealer on April 10th. It has not changed (yet??).

You might just be lucky Im hoping yours doesnt changed. my order got picked up March 19th with a TPW of April 20th, then May 4th, then May 18th and now June 1st. As far as i know, all the v6 manual cars have been pushed back to June 1st build, but if yours hasnt, then thats great news.
Check your TPW again early this week and at the end of the week.

Are all you guys with TPW's sure they are official? I never actually received an official TPW. My order went to 3000 on April 8th, but my status has not changed since then. I was told my car would be built the week of the 27th or May 4th but obviously that didn't happen.

If by official, do you mean did I see it on a workbench printout - then no. I get all my info from my dealer via phone or e-mail. He seems to know what he is talking about and keeps me informed. Last week he said that he 'called GM' and confirmed the TPW.

Mine is a print out of the WB update and was confirmed when the dealer called to complain.

If you haven't heard the podcast with John Fitzpatrick, he talks about the V6 manual delay starting about 42 minutes in to the interview. Basically, he said they should start building them in the next couple of weeks (25 May?? 1 June) never gave an actual start date. Sounds like they were building SS models until the battery cable issue came up, then they switched to the LT models. Now that they have the SS cable issue fixed, who knows what they will concentrate on.

Well he did key in on the performance of the v6 manual, which links to the info that we got with the weak performance with the clutch pressure plate and 2nd gear sychro.
What i dont understand is that he said they would start building these in the next 2 weeks or so, but then later says Mid May. he also said the parts have been allocated for them.
So as far as we know, they could get built next week, which is also rumored to be a test week, or any time but definitly by June 1st.
I guess we can say that June 1st is a gaurentee, but from the 18th onward, its a possibiltiy.
But i think that all these cars that will get built by this possible "test-week" will go through some extensive testing and QC hold. Lets hope they build these soon, then bump our orders again to the front of the line so that we can finally get our cars!

The one issue that I didn't like was it sounded like they were concertrating on the V8's exclusively until they discovered the battery cable issue. I hope they were doing that because they were trying to figure out the V6 manual issue. I'm kinda glad I don't have a TPW right now, because I think you're right, the first batches of the V6 manuals will be getting an extensive QC review before they're released.

Whatever the outcome, the vehicles will be the best GM can put out once they get to us.

I cant agree with you more Bull, we will be getting the best, a few more weeks will be worth it!
P.S i just found out a 2LT Manual only weighs 3470 lbs!
I didnt know my car would be that light. Im sure the RS package might save a few pounds as well!
With a cold air intake and exhausts, we should be pretty quick and nimble!

I was the one that posted the question for John and I posted it on the 8th so I think the interview was on the 8th or 9th.
