Are NT05Rs good for sub 1.5 60's?
Like the title states, will the Nt05r hook well enough for 1.5s or quicker on a big stall auto car?

I will be running a 4000 converter with 3.70s. I may just spring for some slicks to be sure. I think a 1.55 could get me where I need to be though.

Im really looking at a wheel tire setup I could dd and track. The M and H drs are looking promising, but on the other hand I know for a fact that a hoosier 28" slick will dead hook it......lol

I really liked the M&H d/r's.... I have driven to the track on 28" hoosiers as well with no problems so far.

You want to try them...I know someone that has some 305/45 18s on some nurburgrings.
I will say this though...if the NT05r spins after this new converter, I will buy Mickey Thompson. Worked great on my GN.

Can you borrow a set of 17x10 Weld/MT's, that's my top choice.
