Lowering front 1.4"

Any of you guys lower the front 1.4" and have or not have any issues. I am thinking about lowering the front 1.4" and the rear 1" but before I do I just wanna be aware of any issues that may arise. I know the SS guys have with no rubbing issues but our front wheel width is a bit wider. TIA!!

Haven't seen any. You will however have to get an alignment.

Mine is down 1" from stock. I personally wouldn't want it any lower.

What are your reasons for not wanting to go lower? Is it for rubbing issues or just everyday driving dilemmas.

Looking at my car it looks like the rear is higher than the front (based on tire gaps). Why make that even more of a difference?

Is it to have more rake?

Reverse those numbers rear 1.4 front 1.0 and it will handle better.

I drooped mine 1 inch all around and the reear still looks higher then the front. Coilovers

I was actually looking at 1.4 fr and 1.2 rear just to keep a little bit of the raked look. Don't beat me up over this thought process but wouldn't you want the rear to be a little bit higher for more suspension travel under acceleration and what not? I wouldn't think you would want the rear completely slammed and take away all of the squat. Plus, I think if you were slammed with no squat wouldn't that make for a much stiffer and annoying ride? Please correct me if I'm wrong but don't be mean about it, I'm here to learn and have fun.

I see you're from Damascus, do you know of any Camaro meet ups in the area? Fairly new on here and trying to find some locals.

Got any pics of your whip? I was thinking of pulling the trigger on 1" on all 4 corners.. But your on coil overs right? Or drop springs?

Sent from the side view mirror.. While watching a ruststang fall back.. Ultimately just giving up

This car handles better with the rear slightly lower, this was tested by pedders. If your driving it on the street it wont matter much and if your just using lowering springs just go with what drop your after. if rake is what your after just lower the front only... I find it hard to notice .2 inch offset anyway.....

I had slowhawk install my coilovers and set the height 1 inch lower. I can adjust this later if I want. It slightly looks raked as is I just wanted the wheel well distances shortened on mine I can just about fit my hand under them now.

There are huge threads just type lowered Camaro in google.
here is the split drop you are probably after - http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=204335
