maybe thats why they put run flats, so when they make the 1LE and put non run flats and wider tires thats all it will take for it to be quicker then the base SS lol.

So there must be some more videos of sessions from the Fest, I imagine there had to be a whole lot more sessions with more tidbits?! Post those videos now!

Wow no AFM with the manual straight from Al O. I am back in for a Gen6, just when I was planning another round of upgrades on my current car thinking I was sticking with it.

Great to see the video and the positive mood and excitement from GM on their product.

Doesn't GM have it's own test track where they do dev work? I'd take it to mean faster around their track.

All the big car companies have them...

You do have a point. The tires will make a bigger difference if they decide to make a 1LE.

Speaking of testing... When is the next industry pool week at the Nurburgring? Given the gen6 Z(whatever) sighting I've been wondering when we will start seeing cars testing

It doesn't matter anymore. They have enacted very strict safety standards at the ring due to a crash back in March where a GT-R flew off the course and killed a spectator. You will not be hearing too much more about fast lap times at the ring until if and when they relax the enacted speed limits.

There were only two official GM presentations. One Friday and one Saturday, they were basically the same, except Al wasn't at the one on Friday and someone else spoke on his talking points.

Yeah I read that back when they introduced the speed limits on testing. Really a shame. I'm sure some other track will take it's place though.

VIR and Laguna both are very good testing tracks. Laguna is what Ford used as the final tests on the Boss against the M3.
