I paid 38,000 for the car, they can change the frigg'in battery every couple of years for me... if the dealer won't do it, find another dealer... My wifes car is seven years old and has never had to replace the battery in her fob...

Just flip the key open, stick your fingertip in the groove where the key folds into, and pull. Very easy, it takes one CR2032 battery. If you have it on a key ring, it's better to remove the ring first.

Now you know what I'm always doing in my spare time. Damn Camaro that's all I think about anymore. Don't feel like going out anymore, just tinker on the car. Know it inside and out. Plus my key fob was sitting here, so I popped it apart. I really need to get a life away from this car.
