Can anybody give me some answers on this pricing question?

So, I was looking to purchase the factory racing stripe kit [image below], and have them applied to my car all through my local Chevrolet dealership. My question is, how much do you think Chevy will charge me [Purchase of stripes + installation]? All of the dealerships locally are closed for the day, so I think this community is the best place to ask.

* The stripes would only be on the hood and the trunk, as I have a convertible *

If anybody could give me some answers, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks!

That's what I was worried of. I'll probably end up going with a collisions shop or something.

They quoted me something over 600.. you are better off going bigwormgraphix and doing it yourself or a local shop.. maybe 300 then

The factory stripe kit really isn't that hard to put on. I did mine myself. There are a lot of YouTube videos. Just make sure to keep it lubricated under there

I found the stripes online, so they're about $165. Hopefully I can keep the installation under $400.

I did some pricing before buying my car and found that in my area the dealers wanted up to $1,000 but paint and body shops were charging around $500.

I think I paid $400 from Becky at Rogers Chevrolet. That included everything. Stripes and installation. It was about the same price as to have the car shipped down to Kentucky and I just said I would come and pick it up if she would put the stripes on. But then the Camaro I wanted was sold without her knowledge and the Camaro I finally picked out she had shipped down at no charge to me.

I paid a custom shop $200 to do mine. The guy has built some amazing cars and was recommended to me by guys I know who do show cars. Somehow he still managed to F up my stripes. If I had to do it over again I would just have put them on myself.

I would be thrilled if my local dealership could do it for $400. I'm waiting to hear back from them, as they have to call me back tomorrow. If they are too expensive, I'll just end up taking it to a custom shop.

Just got a quote of $395 (includes ordering the stripes and installation). I think I'll go with this deal, I just love the look of the rally stripes.

Does anybody know how I go about starting this process? Do I just call the detailing department of the dealership, and ask them to order the stripes? And how long does it take them to apply them (do I wait at the dealership)?
