Unhappy My AAC experience to date...

I have ordered a few things from AAC. First, the DRL halos I received didn't work. One of them was defective. Talked to Andy (on 11/30) and he Emailed a warranty form to send in with the defective part. Great so far. I am STILL waiting for a replacement! After calling on Wed. of this week, and the first response was that they didn't receive it. Then, they told me it had been shipped and I would receive it on Thursday or Friday. I still don't have it.
Next problem. Ordered a set of 5202 amber bulbs. For the (high) price, I expected a premium bulb. Well, they are just not very bright. Not bright enough for DRL's, anyway. So, I sent these back as unacceptable and got charged a 20% restocking fee for a poor quality part. So, I'm losing confidence in their parts quality and customer service. I then cancelled my afterburner preorder. And to add insult to injury, it took them almost a week after that to credit my Paypal account. Everyone who has ordered from them and had good luck, great. I'm just not impressed with them.

I'm finding that out myself the hard way...I feel like it (5202bulbs) is poorly made.. not very bright... The 5202 snap rings broke off installing them into fog lamps... I do alot of traveling, so I was not able to look at this before my 10 days was up. so now I'm stuck with them due to my not being able to return them before the 10 days was up... they will give you a store credit ? wow 350.00 latter ? I also order the HID kit... If i had know this is how it was wired.. I would not have bought this kit... the wireing diagram that comes with it.. has alot to bed desired...

Mine wasn't the greatest...the 9 LED for the dome light was simply too big and touches the lens cover. I inquired about it, they stated that yes it was a bit big, and I could return it for a smaller one. WTF sell them then if you know they are too big? And return them? Come on guys, the cost of these things can't be very much, and were you really going to re-sell it so someone else after I used it? Step up to the customer service plate and just offer a smaller bulb.

Whatever...I'm done with them as well. Luckily I was only oout the $27

I replaced my dome light with one from superbrightleds.com. Part number WLED-xLX. $9.95 and comes in different colors. I've used bulbs from them with great success. Also, everything I've gotten from V-LEDS has been good.

What didnt make sence is The

194 Wedge Base LED Bulbs

LED Color: RED
# of LEDs: 5 LED
LED Intensity: 3 Chip (Very Bright
$31.64

as apposed to ordering
2010 Chevy Camaro LED Conversion Kit
$29.89 for two bulds

and paying over $5 for a 194 bulb is crazy. Its a LED not rocket science.

Well, AAC said they shipped another halo ring to me yesterday. Maybe they are telling the truth THIS time since I also got emailed a tracking number. We'll see...
