Since this is my 1st post, I'd like to say hello and show off the only camaro I do have, my 1975 coupe.
Built 454ci BBC with early iron oval port(Large Oval Port), converted to a 5 speed TKO-600, 2.73 rear (peg,ROFL'S), dual electric fans, full MSD, subrfame connectors and now some Hoosier street drag radials. 19 MPG!! on the highway, city??? don't ask! Since living in Japan for the last 1 1/2 year ( In the Navy), I have come to miss my old american muscle cars more than ever. Can't wait to get back and hear another BBC other than mine because I have not seen one here. =( Looking to buy a 2011 1SS 'Vert with the A6 (Japanese girls can't drive manual cars) and throw some boost at it and call it done. This forum is great and I will be doing my homework. Thanks everyone. P.S.Thats my buddy's 383 SBC/4 speed 1972 Corvette and yes, I kick his ass! Howdy all! We're the proud 2nd owners of this 1979 Camaro Berlinetta. Bought it about 6 years ago for our youngest boy as his first car. He made payments on it, to us and drove it for a couple of years. We told him that when he was ready to sell it, we wanted to buy it back. It's been a long process stripping it down, cleaning it up and restoring it, but we're getting there. We pulled the engine and had it gone through and added a 410hp Edlebrock power pack. The engine is back in just trying to finish buying all the other items needed. Still a work in progress but you can see pics here, http://s217.photobucket.com/albums/c...tta%20Project/

Here's my 79 Berlinetta. It's definitely come a long way from it's stock form. I'm in the process of removing all the emblems that show it as a Berlinetta simply because I'm resto-modding it and want to make it mine.
Built .40 over 350, polished and ported, Iron Eagle Heads and Valves, Scorpion High Performance lifters, Edelbrock Performer RPM High Rise Intake, Edelbrock 750 carb, Holley Blue Electric fuel pump, converted to dual electric fans, 3 inch exhaust going into 4 foot glasspack sidepipes, will be exchanging the manifolds (only way at the time to make the sidepipes work) to headers after the holidays, rear disc conversion kit with drilled/slotted rotors. Car was originally a 305, 2-speed powerglide and limited slip. It's now the 350, TH350, and posi rear. I'm almost certain it has 2.73 gears, so we'll be moving up to 3.73 or 4.11's by Spring. |

Good looking clone, The side spear needs to run all the way to the front fender. The tip needs to be 3and a half inches behind the front wheel well opening and centered on the shadow line. Looks good though! Any time slips yet?
